It is with heavy hearts we share the news that we have lost a member of our hockey community this week. Julie Murray, mom to KGHA alumni Sophie Madsen and wife to long-time KGHA volunteer and past Executive member Paul Madsen, passed away on Friday, July 30, 2021.Julie will be remembered by KGHA players and families as a warm-hearted hockey mom and KGHA super fan. She always had a smile on her face and brought so much positivity to the rink. There are many fond memories of her loud celebrations and enthusiasm for our girls' great hockey plays and any goal scored. A bright light taken too soon.
Our thoughts and condolences go out to Paul, Sophie, Quinn, Thomas and the entire Murray - Madsen family at this difficult time.
