Sending KGHA condolences to the Montgomery-Wingate family

Laurie had the uncanny ability to always see the bright side, and the best in people. These characteristics were always on display in the years she spent as den mom and super fan for Brooke’s teams. Laurie’s smile lit up a room and her generosity and kindness knew no bounds. Laurie lived her life selflessly with love, positivity, humility, and humour. She maintained all of this while courageously battling her illness. Laurie was the type of role model we all hope our daughters will be fortunate enough to meet. Her memory will continue to guide and inspire within the KGHA and the community at large.

For those wishing, donations can be made in memory of Laurie to the Canadian Cancer Society, Cystic Fibrosis Canada or the Canadian Wildlife Federation. A celebration of Laurie’s life will take place at a later date.
