Kanata Rangers #kgha1920 teams were out in full force for the Oshawa Lady Generals Fall Classic this past weekend. We had eight teams represent the association, with our Bantam B bringing home Gold and Bantam BB and PeeWee AA taking Silver.
Congratulations to our Bantam B Rangers, coached by Craig Gauthier, for bringing home GOLD! Undefeated all weekend, these girls pulled it together in their first tournament of the season and are bringing home the gold!!! Teamwork and hustle are the keys to their weekend success.
It was Silver linings for our PeeWee AA Rangers. Coached by Anthony Baressi, the team was undefeated through round robin play but lost a hard fought 2-1 final to a strong team from Durham West. A great weekend of great hockey in their first tournie of the season - and oh so close!
Our fiesty Bantam BB ladies battled through illness and injury to bring home Silver, with a strong showing through round robin and medal round play. What a great group of young ladies and supportive families. Coach Mike Cross can’t wait to see where the season takes you!
