KGHA's Martinson To Represent In Calgary

Mak has been selected by the OWHA on behalf of Hockey Canada to participate in the 2019 Global Game hosted by the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) in Calgary on February 16, 2019. The 2019 edition of the Global Game will include 40 countries taking part around the world. The selection process was open to all Provinces and Territories Women's Hockey Association’s and was based on player's answers to questions that were reflective of their experience with, commitment to, and expression of the OWHA's core values in their lives, in and outside the rink. Makenna will proudly represent the KGHA in Calgary, as one of the 6 OWHA players chosen to play with team Canada. It will be an exciting all expense paid long weekend event for a hardworking, respectful, dedicated young athlete and person we are all very proud of. Hockey is more than a game. It helps to build character and to create memories that will last a life time!
