Player Of The Month - February 2019

Leah was nominated by Novice C coach, Brooks McMillan. Our Novice competitive teams operate on a club mentality. When there's a B player absent, Coach Ryan (Couch) calls up from the C team and when a C player is absent, Coach Brooks calls up from one of the three HL teams. Leah has been an awesome callup and has skated with the C team on many occasions this season.

"Leah has been our go-to callup this season. She was on the ice when we got our first tie and when we got our first two (back-to-back) wins before Christmas in exhibition play. She's a hard worker and always gives 110% whether it's a practice or a game." said Coach Brooks. Coach David, when asked by Coach Brooks if it was okay to feature Leah as KGHA's February Player of The Month, said "I think it's a great idea. Leah is a little fireball who, as you said, always gives it a great effort."
