DIFD Day In Ottawa A Resounding Success

Thank you to all the organizers for their immense amounts of hard work that went into this day and thank you to all of the spectators for coming out and enjoying a fun-filled day of women's hockey with an emphasis on youth mental health.

Between our teams and NGHA's, we truly did "all skate together" in support of raising awareness and inspiring conversations towards transforming youth mental health.

Our goal was to raise in excess of $10,000 and we're pleased to report that, pending the final reconciliation, our combined "purples hearts" raised in excess of $13,000.  

What a great TEAM effort! The KGHA extends our sincerest thanks to the organizers and players for their commitment to this cause and all their hard work before and during the event to raising funds and awareness. You are inspirations to us all!
