Congratulations to October's #KGHA1819 Player of the Month, Jessica Burke, from the Kanata Bantam B Rangers. Way to go, Jessica! She was nominated by her team after having backstopped them to an undefeated 8-0-2 record in their first 10 games, including 6 consecutive shutouts!
Here's what Coach Monaghan had to say about Jessica:
"Jessica has really had to step it up as our only tendy for the short term, as we prepare to welcome back her partner in the crease Jade Milligan in a couple weeks. Jessica has an amazing laid back approach to dealing with the pressures of competitive hockey, and manages to keep on the honor roll at Sacred Heart High School. Jessica is a team player and a wonderful kid on and off the ice! We are so fortunate to have her!"
