  ShareVolunteers Sought For Canada Day In Kanata 20182018-05-09
 Hello, my name is Alex Corrigan - Volunteer Coordinator for the Canada Day in Kanata Association, the annual Canada Day event held at the Kanata Recreation Center. Please read further for a hopeful solicitation of volunteers for this year's event.

I wanted to inquire as to whether some of your KGHA athletes would be potentially interested in several volunteer opportunities that have just been made available between June 28 and July 2, 2018.
Available opportunities include:
- June 38: 2PM-6PM
- June 29: 11AM-4PM
- June 29: 4PM-8PM
- June 30: 9AM-12PM
- July 1: 10AM-3PM
- July 1: 3PM-8PM
- July 2: 8AM-2PM
As this is a live event, volunteers may be tasked with a variety of duties, of which provide equal benefit to the attendees. Potential tasks include cleaning the grounds, setting tables, managing bouncy castles, and many more.
Interested volunteers are able to register for shifts online at: https://app.initlive.com:443/JE/hzsa8aog05w00m. All hours would count toward fulfilling mandatory high school volunteer commitment, if applicable; however, we also actively search for adult volunteers as they are integral to the success of our event. Please let me know if you have any questions as we are looking to fill all volunteer positions by late May to early June on a first-come, first-serve basis. With your help in spreading the word, we will surely surpass our expectations!
