Player Of The Month - May 2018

The coaching staff of the Novice 2 Wrecking Balls wanted to nominate Paige Lineger for the KGHA Player of the Month. Paige exemplifies what it means to be a great teammate and friend. This was Paige’s first season playing hockey and she brought an enthusiasm and kindness that was contagious to all of her teammates and coaches! One of our favourite moments this year was Paige scoring our team’s first goal of our season and seeing the pure joy and happiness it brought to everyone involved with our team. 1.    How long have you been playing hockey? One time (one year 😊).   2.    What position do you play? Defence or forward, and goalie.   3.   Favourite food or pregame meal? Pizza.   4.    What is the best part of playing hockey? All of it... But definitely being with my teammates!   5.    What is the hardest part of playing hockey? Getting the puck.   6.    What is your favourite hockey memory? Being in a hotel with my whole team.   7.   Who is your favourite player? Erik Karlsson, but he needs to cut his hair!   8.   Favourite Sport/Activity Outside of Hockey? Baseball   9.   When you are older where do you see yourself playing hockey? The NHL.
