Calling All Coaches

The selection process will consist of an evaluation of the submitted coaching application and an interview by the Coach Selection Committee. Only those candidates deemed to be appropriately qualified shall be given an interview. The KGHA reserves the right to withdraw open positions if an exceptionally qualified candidate is found. Candidate assessments will be based on experience, qualifications, and coaching philosophy.

The current plans for the 2018-2019 Kanata Rangers Competitive Program will include the following team categories (level of play and/or number of teams may change at the discretion of the KGHA Executive):

Midget AA
Midget A
Midget BB
Midget B

Midget C 

Bantam AA
Bantam A (possibly both A minor and A major teams - TBC)
Bantam BB
Bantam B

Bantam C

Peewee AA
Peewee BB
Peewee B
Peewee C

Atom AA
Atom B
Atom C

Novice B

Interested applicants are to send a KGHA coach application to the VP Competitive by January 15th, 2018 for all teams. The rationale in requesting coach applications by this date is to allow an opportunity for players of parent coach applicants to be assessed before the end of the season and also to have coaches identified well in advance of spring tryouts.
