Develop the offensive skills needed to take your game to the next level with the Girls Only Scoring Clinic!
At the request of the KGHA Development Coordinator, the Head of Hockey Development for the Senators Hockey Programs at the Sensplex facilities developed the “Girls Only Scoring Clinics” program. This program began last year and helped countless KGHA players improve their puck control, shooting, and other scoring skills.
KGHA members are now entitled to receive a 10% discount by using a KGHA-specific coupon code KGHAFALL17.
With this program players can expect to:
- Improve shooting accuracy and power
- Enhance puck control abilities (particularly in tight spaces) by addressing hand position, knee bend and stick-handling technique
- Improve reaction time and compete levels needed to succeed in net-front battles which produce such a high percentage of goals in minor hockey
- Sessions are available for players from all levels as all development is done in small group stations which are separated by age and ability. As with all individualized skill development, the caliber of other players participating will not affect others.

These sessions run October 23 to December 11 (FALL Session) and January 15 to March 5 (WINTER Session). Alternate dates are available at the Richcraft Sensplex for members who may live closer to the east end of Ottawa. All sessions are run using stations separated by ability so this program is open to players of all ages and levels from Novice through Bantam.
